Financial Policy

Dr. Novack and his staff are proud to be a team whose primary mission is to deliver the finest and most comprehensive periodontal services. Your oral health is important to us.  We wish to assure you that your treatment will be performed in a most caring and responsible manner. To best assist you with the investment in your dental health, we have outlined our financial policies and payment options. We are glad to offer a broad range of payment options for the convenience of our patients.

Emergency-Single Visit Payment Policy

For single-visit procedures, our policy is that payment is expected in full at the time of service. For your convenience, we accept cash, cheque, money order, debit card and major credit card payment (MasterCard and VISA).

Multiple Visit Payment Options

Option 1: Full Payment at the Time of Service

It is usual and customary for our patients to pay for their care the very day their treatment is provided.

Option 2: Prepayment Professional Courtesy Deduction

We are sensitive to the cost of delivering high quality periodontal professional care. In an effort to reduce treatment costs, you may wish to consider a prepayment option. Dr. Novack is pleased to offer a 10% fee reduction should payment be made on your entire treatment plan before treatment commences, typically when all appointments are scheduled. Selection of this option provides you with the maximum savings on the cost of your total treatment because the billing expenses we save are passed on to you in the form of a 10% courtesy reduction. Our Treatment Coordinator will be glad to review the financial elements of your care and thereafter assist you in defining the financial option best for you.

Option 3: Open Account Payment Plans – Treatment fees divided into 4 equal payments.

For individuals desiring a more flexible payment plan, the open account plan may be your best choice. This plan allows four equal payments over a period of up to three months following each phase of treatment. The first payment of one quarter is due when your appointment is scheduled, the second on the date of treatment, the third payment one month following treatment and the fourth and final payment is due two months after treatment.

Option 4: Extended Payment Plans and Outside Financing

For those who require extended payment plans, these matters must be discussed and mutually acceptable payment terms finalized prior to scheduling treatment.

As noted above, for your convenience, payments may be made with cash, personal cheque, debit card, MasterCard or VISA. Should you have any financial or other related issues or concerns, please consult our staff. They are well informed, up-to-date on dental insurance plan reimbursement and dedicated to assist you.
