Management of Gum Recession

It is sometimes difficult to anticipate how an individual patient will respond to orthodontic treatment. Even when gums do recede, there fortunately exist procedures that can predictably reconstruct lost gum support. Exposed roots can be covered with gum, the support to your teeth reestablished and your smile returned to health and beauty. This procedure is called a connective tissue graft.
